How to recognize it
- White top (Delta Q&A); RP46463 has a gray top
Don't mix it up
- Delta's title says '04/2006 and earlier' but the fit line says 1700/1800 produced before March 2007.
- Includes adapter pieces for 1500 series valves.
- Some older rough-in valves won't take it; Delta suggests an R10000 rough-in in that case.
- Not interchangeable with: Delta RP46463
Good to know
Parts of the cartridge aren't sold separately; replace the whole cartridge. Out of stock on deltafaucet.com when checked 2026-10-29 (not marked discontinued).
Before you buy: pull the old part and compare it side by side. Similar-looking parts often don't swap.
